I gained a fresh perspective from Australians, and also gained a new perspective on the field of sustainability.

I learned a ton, but I would not describe the program as conventionally rigorous.

Largely on your own except for camping trips which had good food.

Much of the program was spent with my American peers, but the ISP allowed me to really get to know Australians and make friends.

Very safe

This program was an awesome way to study abroad.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
