This trip gave me the assurance that I needed in choosing my career. It showed me what theater is capable of and what it can be. I learned that plenty of people out there still appreciate it and will continue to do so. It gave me confidence in my choice. Dana S - Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville View Entire Review
I was able to travel the world at the British Library and learn about many different cultures and history. Larry N - Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville View Entire Review
Very much so. It's hard to voice. Much inspiration and knowledge of myself and the world around me was gained. Elisabeth G - Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville View Entire Review
About
All of London will be your classroom during the London Theater Study Abroad Program. During this 28-day immersive course in London, students will see diverse theater, dance and multi-media performances and sometimes go behind the scenes in leading theaters like the National Theatre, the ICA, the Royal Court, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. We will explore rich cultural institutions such as the British Museum, The Tate Modern, and the National Gallery and create a scholarly blog to track our adventures. Previous study programs have included excursions to Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Stonehenge, Warwick Castle, Hampton Court, Brighton and Cardiff. Past workshops have included puppeteering, ukulele classes and meeting leading scholars in history and performance.
