Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The workload was not too hard or challenging. The program classes were a bit easy but I did take one class at the University and that was definitely more challenging and difficult as it was a class filled with only Argentines. I liked the workload of my program classes because I think I would have been even more stressed out and not have enjoyed my overall experience if I had a lot of schoolwork. |

The program was very helpful in whatever I needed. The program was small which at sometimes it was nice and other times annoying as I got annoyed by the people in my program. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I loved my host family. They were always willing to help me with whatever needs I had. They were very welcoming to me and tried to make a part of the family. |

Personally, I do not like Argentine food that much. The meat is delicious there but I did not eat a lot of fruits or vegetables. I think that might be because my host family did not eat a lot of fruits or vegetables. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
This is hard one to answer. I did love the food that we ate on our program trip. We went to see a tango show in Buenos Aires and had the most delicious meal. I definitely remember those amazing meals we had on all our field trips. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

I felt very safe in Cordoba. I did live in a nice part of the town, but overall I always felt safe walking by myself. |

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I didn't really spend that much because I had all meals at home. I would say I spent about 40 dollars for public transportation and cell phone fees. I did live far away from my university so I spent more for transportation than others. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | There really isn't advice I can give for that because it depends on where you live. I lived far away so I had to spend more money on transportation. |

| How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |
| Language acquisition improvement? |
The best way to improve language skills is really to make local friends and speak Spanish with them. You will not improve your language skills if you only hang out with people who speak English. I believe my Spanish improved so much because I tried to surround myself with people who only spoke Spanish and living with a host family is probably one of the best outlets for that. I did need to use Spanish everyday because not a whole lot of people spoke English in Cordoba. |
