This was great for me as I will be looking for a job soon. We met with multiple media corporations and I gained a passion for a specific job that I hope to gain. Also, I feel in love with London and am open to working abroad to widen my search and life experience. Amber T - Stephen F. Austin State University View Entire Review

About
London and Paris are the centers of media and information in the world. This class offers students the opportunity to see cutting edge media and meet professionals at the top of the field in newspapers, magazines, broadcast, digital media, photojournalism, advertising and public relations. In the last five years, our Meet the Media class has gone to New York, Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles and across the ocean to London and Paris! Before the trip students will thoroughly research the media and businesses they will visit and put together a website and booklet about the upcoming trip. When the trip is over, students will put reflections, reports and photos on their dedicated website. You may take three or six hours during the Meet the Media session.
