During my experience abroad, I gained greater perspective with my studies, and got to see a practical experience from another angle. The professors were incredible, and even more insightful than some of those I've taken classes with back home. It was an amazing opportunity and definitely worthwhile

The PR program was rigorous, fun, and educational. The materials and resources were at at--or above--the level that I expected them to be. |

The host country program administration was great. They checked in with us throughout to ensure that we were getting what we wanted to out of the experience. I never felt abandoned or forgotten during the process. Everyone was quite helpful. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The housing was just as described, which I was pleased with. I was prepared for things to be not as nice, but accommodations were more than acceptable. It was comfortable and had everything that I needed. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I am multi-lingual, so I had a huge advantage in terms of integration. I felt like we were given ample opportunities to explore without feeling like tourists, and when I went out on my own, I felt confident with my ability to get around and speak to others without bugging anybody. |

* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I didn't have any health issues to address, but my roommate did and she was well taken care of. I was impressed with how seriously it was taken. |

The area of the city that we were in felt safe, and the building that I was staying in was quite secure. I never felt threatened or concerned about going out by myself during the day time, and I always went out with other students during the evening hours. I always kept my bag zipped when in touristy areas, but never had any incidents or witnessed anything bad. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
It was not a problem to live on a students budget, but I came prepared to enjoy my fair share of gourmet cuisine, shopping, and going out. It was definitely worth it in the end, and incidentals weren't incredibly expensive so I was able to splurge on nice meals, treats at cafes, and a bit of shopping. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Balance is key. You might be tempted to spend a lot more than you might back in your home country, but a little frugality will keep you from your finances getting too tight later in the program. |
