Sungshin University is a private research university located in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 1936 by Dr. Sook-Chong Lee. During the 1960s and 70s, Sungshin was well known as a prestigious Teachers College in South Korea.
Sungshin began its first international exchange student program in 1968 with Straford University, USA. Since then, Sungshin has built 29 exchange programs in 10 different countries which enable the exchange of students, faculty, and academic studies. Sungshin students can internationally acquire course credits not only through exchange programs, but also by means of cyber-internet courses, and other new methods now available with developing technology.
