Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Very, very large workload. The course description should be changed to "History & Art History of the Church in Medieval Tuscany" because the current course name and description is misleading. More time should be given to learning basic Italian. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Overall a good program |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
No access to a cooking area, 1am curfew every night of the week, towels were not changed consistantly |
* Food: |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Difficult to get to know any locals, partially due to the intense regimentation of the program and the 1am curfew at the hotel. The instructor was very keen on the local culture however and incorporated it into lectures. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
very safe city and a lecture on health & safety was given prior to our departure |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
