About
Wildlife in the West immerses students in the complexities of wildlife conservation with attention to policy, ecology, and human community issues. We take a case study approach, focusing on wolves, bull trout, lynx, and grizzly bears to examine the realities of wildlife management in working landscapes. The Crown of the Continent is the perfect classroom for learning about emerging solutions to human-wildlife conflicts, solutions that are relevant across the country and the world.

Scholarships from our general fund are based on a combination of financial need and academic merit and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Our Agnes Beck Memorial Scholarship is reserved for students who currently have in-state status at any Montana university.
Typically, our awards range from $500 to $1500 depending on fund availability and financial need
