About
This program will provide the foundation to understanding the people, history, culture and government of a civilization more than 5,000 years old. The program will show the influence of ancient Chinese medicine, art and religion on the world and the way in which China attempts to balance economical and political development with ancient customs, rituals, and beliefs. Students will have the option of studying logistics, history or cultural geography. Excursions: In Beijing, students will visit the Great Wall as well as the Forbidden City. During their stay in Wuhan there will be five local excursions. The program will end with an excursion to Shanghi. Individual instructors will arrange local excursions related to their classes.
