An Adventure of a Lifetime Past Review
By Molly N (Geography, Miami University) - abroad from 06/20/2015 to 11/13/2015 with
The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Christchurch - University of Canterbury
Studying abroad really pushed me out of my comfort zone and left me to really discover who I am as a person. It allowed me to understand and discover not only the culture of New Zealand but also the culture of my peers who were also international students. This experience led me to understand more about where I come from and how I want to live my life in the future. I gained many skills and experiences in outdoor adventure and learned new programs and skills in my lectures that I am excited to take back to my home university. It was completely worthwhile, an incredible adventure that changed my life in all ways for the better. New Zealand is an incredible country that I hope many people have the chance to discover in the future.

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
