Worthwhile is an understatement when describing my time abroad. Although it may sound cliche, I absolutely feel like I grew and changed as a person during my time abroad. Traveling through TEAN allowed me to make friends, see incredible sights, and m... - University of New Hampshire View Entire Review
I gained so many new friends that I intended to keep for a long time. I learned how to roll with whatever life throws at you. I learned that things will not always go exactly as planned and that is completely okay, but working through it will make you smarter and stronger. I gained knowledge on how to communicate with people who... - Green Mountain College View Entire Review

I learned so much while I was abroad and I am so thankful to have made the decision to go. I got to explore a really fascinating culture that on the surface didn't look too different from my own but surprised me in the subtle differences on many levels. I also was exposed to a new perspective of my own country as seen from abroa... - Stonehill College View Entire Review

A student studying abroad with The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Christchurch - University of Canterbury
Studying abroad really pushed me out of my comfort zone and left me to really discover who I am as a person. It allowed me to understand and discover not only the culture of New Zealand but also the culture of my peers who were also international students. This experience led me to understand more about where I come from and how... - Miami University View Entire Review
My experience abroad made me discover my adventurous side for sure, but it also helped me appreciate learning so much more and it showed me how great learning can be and also that I'm learning with a purpose to be useful to society. TEAN was 100% the right choice for me. Everything was idiot-proof. I never worried about anything while abroad, someone was always just a phone call away with the answer to any question or problem. The pre-semester trip to Fiji was unforgettable, and the orientation in Auckland was absolutely incredible. TEAN is run by amazing p... - Delaware Valley College View Entire Review

The earthquake was a huge part of what happened while I was there. Everything from then on was tainted by it, but I was able to use it as an incredible learning experience and a chance to give back to my host country. I was able to see how a university would deal with a natural disaster and to see much of the leadership and hero... - Marietta College View Entire Review
My quest to New Zealand began long before I packed my bulky suitcases, said farewells to family and friends, and boarded the plane in Los Angeles to leave the country.
