- Intercultural Learning: Participate in our comprehensive Intercultural Learning Co-Curriculum (ILC), which includes pre-departure assignments, in-country reflections, and a re-entry module to ensure you can articulate the value of your experience.
- Academic Structure: The typical in-country duration is 9 days / 8 nights (varies by term), providing a condensed yet high-impact learning experience perfect for university breaks.
- Civic Engagement: Engage in required readings and reflections on topics like Global Citizenship and Social Responsibility.
Cultural Immersion & Highlights:
Your experience extends beyond service through expertly guided excursions that immerse you in Belize’s history and ecology:
- Ancient History: Guided visit to the Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve.
- Marine Ecology: Snorkel the famous Belize Barrier Reef, the second largest in the world.
- Indigenous Culture: Enjoy a Ketchi Maya Experience, a Culinary Workshop, and a Garifuna Drumming and Dance Presentation.
