USINDO Summer Studies program is a specially designed language and cultural immersion that is distinct from most. It entails an intensive ten-week language and cultural studies fellowship held from May to August in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. USINDO works in conjunction with local organizations in Yogyakarta- PT Caraka Muda Indonesia (PT. CMI) and Indonesian Language and Culture Intensive Course (ILCIC) of Sanata Dharma University. Other aspects of the program include interactive lectures, field trips and host families.
