Looking back, I have greatly improved my professional self. I have learned what office environments I enjoy working in, what future experiences to look for and what keeps me motivated. - University of New Hampshire View Entire Review
I gained so many hands-on skills from my internship. My internship allowed me to work with a sports team which I wouldn't have been able to do in America. I also become more independent and self-confident through living in a foreign country. It was a completely worthwhile experience. - University of Rhode Island View Entire Review
I learned everything I could from my supervisors and co-workers! They taught me how to properly prepare diets for most of the animals, how to properly handle animals that were fragile, how to diagnose some illness and how to administer medicine to treat ill animals. - University of Central Florida View Entire Review
I learned so much from my experience abroad. I gained a lot of confidence working with children, which is the group of people I want to work with when I'm older. The healthcare system in Australia is much different, and I was able to get hands on experience, which I wouldn't have been able to do in the US. This whole experience has changed my life. As cliché as that sounds, I can say with complete honesty that it is 100% true. Before this trip I had never been out of North America, let alone, away from my family and friends for this long. While there were definitely times where it was tough and I really didn’t want to do this whol... - Michigan State University View Entire Review

I am so glad that I decided to do this abroad program. I stayed in my home town for college, so leaving home for nine weeks to work abroad made me feel a lot more confident that I can leave home for graduate school. This experience was incredibly worthwhile. I learned to appreciate and understand that people in different parts of the world do things differently than we do in the US, and just because it's different doesn't mean it's wrong.
