International work experience is more important than ever and one of the best ways to make the leap into working and living overseas is by completing an internship abroad. Our expert Internship Team handles all the details, organizing a customized full-time internship placement that fits your interests and professional goals while also helping you get settled in your new host country and culture with included accommodation, activities, excursions and more. Depending on your needs, you can also study and intern at the same time in certain destinations. Placements are available in any industry – from communications to environmental conservation, finance to sports medicine – to kick off your professional career while still having a ton of fun in the process.

Full-time, 8-week and 12-week program options (minimum 32 hours/week)

Opportunity to earn 6 academic credits for completing online course

Pre- and post-internship evaluations to measure your learnings

Learn local business etiquette and best practices during two-day orientation

Professional networking events and workshops

Statistics

WorldStrides Scholarships

WorldStrides will award one scholarship each year to a participating student for the full list price of the ISA program. The GO Full-Ride Scholarship can be used for an ISA program and covers the full program fee. In order to be considered for this scholarship, all applicants must apply and meet the eligibility requirements for one of the other ISA scholarships by the deadline. There will be one GO Full-Ride Scholarship awarded per year.

Deadlines:
Summer: February 28th Fall: April 30 Winter/Spring: October 30th

Guidelines/Requirements:
• Be accepted to a WorldStrides study abroad, internship, or community engagement program. • Have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA. • Have completed at least one year of college level foreign language or the equivalent. Courses must appear on official transcript. • Be enrolled in second or third year of undergraduate education at a U.S. university/college at time of program participation. • Be on financial aid. FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) and home university Award Letter/form required. **Please refer to the ISA scholarship page for more information on guidelines/requirements.

We believe in expanding access and increasing opportunities for individuals from various backgrounds to become global learners by reducing financial barriers. This scholarship is intended for summer and semester students looking to create an impact on the world around them, bringing their own personal perspectives to an international experience.

2 x $1,000 for Summer Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Fall Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Winter/Spring Programs
