Past Review Amazing
This experience was very special and allowed me to be self-reflective and i think because there was time to focus on myself and not be so stressed about academics, it made it worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned how to be alone in an unfamiliar environment, how to do more things for myself, how to challenge myself with course material I have never seen, and just overall more about myself as a person, good and bad. - Saint Leo University View Entire Review

About

In this interdisciplinary and academically rigorous program, students will have the opportunity to study alongside Dutch and other international students for a summer, semester, or full academic year at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). Course offerings are highly specialized, focusing on research methodology across various disciplines including arts and humanities, social sciences, computer science, earth and life sciences, economics, and business. Students will use Amsterdam as their classroom as labs, field trips, and other activities to facilitate deeper engagement with course material!

  • The Netherlands is a hidden gem in Europe, with its beautiful 17th century canal homes and modern feats of engineering.

  • The Netherlands offers a lot within its very tiny borders. In one day, you can go to the beach, a world-renowned art museum, choose dinner from dozens of different cuisines, and finish your day at a world class concert!

  • Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is one of the top research universities in the Netherlands with an AACSB accredited business college.

  • Campus is in the heart of the Amsterdam Business District.

  • While 175 nationalities call Amsterdam home and Dutch is the official language, everyone speaks English (and is happy to do so).
