I learned that bad things can unexpectedly happen that you have no control over and you just have to go with the flow. - Hope College View Entire Review
It was absolutely worthwhile! The only thing I would change is going with the Education Abroad Network. I should have applied directly to the university, or, at the least, gone with a program that was honest about their rates (the Education Abroad Network raised their rates DURING the application process, after I had put in a de... - Lewis & Clark College View Entire Review
My experience abroad was the happiest I have ever been. New Zealand was so welcoming and I learned so much about myself while I was abroad. I learned how to be independent and to try new things. I learned to more socially confident and take the time to really get to know my friends abroad. I walked away from New Zealand with new... - Quinnipiac University View Entire Review

The experience was way worthwhile and I miss New Zealand so much that my heart aches when I look at my photos. It is a part of me and in my future I plan on backpacking the rest of the country I didn't have time to see. About

WorldStrides' partnerships with two leading Auckland universities provide an opportunity to study in one of the world's most naturally beautiful countries while still benefitting from a big city experience. Along with exploring all that Auckland has to offer, like its unique beaches and fusion of Polynesian and European cultures, students also can take advantage of studying at the University of Auckland or AUT University, the country's highest ranking and fastest growing universities respectively. The semester begins with an exciting 5-day Orientation Excursion in adventurous Queenstown on New Zealand's South Island where our in-country staff guide students through orientation sessions and an array of activities, including exploring Maori culture more deeply, jet boating along the Dart River or discovering the stunning Milford Sound!

Auckland has more than 200 diverse cultural groups from around the world, giving the city a rich cultural mix that’s reflected in our restaurants, meeting places, events, music, art, and food!

The University of Auckland is ranked 68th in Top 100 in QS World University Rankings 2024.

The AUT business school is AACSB accredited.

New Zealand is the first country to give women the right the vote and with women in the top three government positions simultaneously.

30% of New Zealand is a natural reserve, with untouched landscapes, stunning national parks, and incredible hiking trails.
