totally worth it, the only thing that was a damper was my living situation which made everyday life hard. i have so many life expierences that i will never forget and it has taught me that i can do anything anywhere and not be afraid, i am excited to push myself further and be open to new expeirences and cutlures. See above mostly... but the reason that I would not choose this program again is because although Barcelona is amazing and it will always have a place in my heart, I feel that what I was looking for out of my experience could have been found in another city. Better personal relationships with the locals, a smaller city, less ni... Peri R - Lewis-Clark State College View Entire Review

My study abroad experience was one of the best experiences I have had. I would recommend it to any student! Nicole W - University of North Carolina - Charlotte View Entire Review
Study abroad was the best decision I ever made. I am much more self confident. I want to give free medical care abroad before I got o grad school and someday I would love to live in Europe. Katja S - Edgewood College View Entire Review
Yes, so worth while!!! It set me back a semester but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Incredible Liz H - University of Wyoming View Entire Review
For sure, I learned more within those 6 months than with all of my schooling previously put together. Caitlyn B - University of San Diego View Entire Review
I can't even begin to express just how worthwhile it was! If I could redo it 100 times I would! Although I did a lot of partying and had a lot of fun, I really felt like this improved my understanding of another culture and of life outside of the United States. Now anytime I see anything referencing Spain or hear the Spain Sp... Elena S - University of Colorado - Boulder View Entire Review
Study abroad was beyond worthwhile....if you have a chance to do it and you dont then you are missing out on some of the best days of your life. Cara K - University of Colorado - Boulder View Entire Review
I would have spent all four of my college years abroad. justin w - University of Colorado - Boulder View Entire Review
Best 5 months of my life, I would give anything to go back. The friends I met I still keep in contact with and I'm very bad with keeping in contact with people when I'm not with them Colton L - University of Colorado - Boulder View Entire Review
I understood more about Spanish culture and language, and can still remember what I've learned. It also instilled a sense of well being and respect for different cultures around the world. Makes me want to travel a lot more. Jessica H - Washington State University - Pullman campus View Entire Review
I learned that I might not be a big-city person, but the fact that I navigated through one, mastered public transportation and traveled alone, having to make all new friends entirely gave me a lot of confidence in my personal capabilities. I am completely changed for the better. Catherine B - University of California - San Diego View Entire Review
This experience was the beginning of my studies abroad. My experience through ISA in Spain has led me to travel to four other countries and to constantly seek opportunities for international travel. Tianna M - West Virginia University View Entire Review
Studying abroad is an experience that will change you forever, and probably in ways you can't even imagine before you actually leave. For me, studying abroad was really about myself and about the things inside of me that stay the same regardless of the continent where I am. It's hard to summarize all the ways that the experience... SupêrNànå S - Boise State University View Entire Review
I think I would choose another program if I were to study abroad again because ISA was often very unprepared and hypocritical. They would tell us to be prompt for trips and that if were not there they would leave without us, but half the time we would all be there and waiting for the directors to show up. Furthermore, it was ver... Stephanie P - Arizona State University View Entire Review
This past semester opened my eyes so much culturally. I really do not know if I can put inot wors what studying abroad did for me. I learned more about myself than I ever thought I could and it made me more open to new experiences, people and places. Since studying abroad, I definitely would like to travel more and eventually... Independence is what I gained from this experience. It hasn't really changed my academic interests or future plans, however, if an opportunity came up where I could work abroad for a few years, I would definitely take advantage of it. Alejandro R - The College of New Jersey View Entire Review
I love the Spanish language, I love Barcelona, I loved my time abroad. It was professional, yet laid back & the instructors were younger, allowing cultural anxiety to be almost nonexistent. I ended up going on to major in spanish & communications & this course definitely helped me determine that path. Maggie H - DePaul University View Entire Review
I have always loved travelling, but this experience truly changed my life. Mary R - University of Central Florida View Entire Review
