Studying abroad was great for my Spanish. I also learned a ton about myself and about the culture I was living in. While in Spain I also had the opportunity to travel to London, Rome and Milan. I'm very comfortable speaking Spanish now, and was excited to be able to use my Spanish during job interviews! But beware: If study abroad is your first time leaving the country...you will become ad... - Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University View Entire Review
I met people that I know I will have a life long connection with. - Saint Lawrence University View Entire Review
I had already spent a fair amount of time living in Spain, so I wasn't there to understand culture, but rather for intensive language study to improve my grammar and ability to write. We were not assigned ONE writing assignment at all during the semester (I was in both advanced literature AND advanced grammar), and even in lite... - The College of William and Mary View Entire Review

My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile! I would not change one thing about my trip. It has changed my future plans...
