Students will take courses at the WorldStrides Global Campus, which is located in the central and dynamic district of Hamria. The Global Campus offers exceptional academic programs taught by highly qualified local and visiting professors from around the world. Students can take courses focusing on language, politics, religion, international relations and more. Local NGOs are also based at the same facility, which offers program participants the unique opportunity to interact with organizations working to promote economic and social development in the area. 

  • Meknes is a very safe and welcoming city. It's easy to get around, and the locals are very friendly and helpful. Meknes is also a relatively inexpensive city.

  • Home to the Sahara, the world’s largest desert, Morocco has incredibly diverse landscapes

  • In Morocco, the locals speak a variety of languages including Arabic, French, and Spanish

  • From couscous to tagine, Morocco is home to savory, sweet, and sour dishes that will leave your tastebuds wanting more.

WorldStrides Scholarships

WorldStrides will award one scholarship each year to a participating student for the full list price of the ISA program. The GO Full-Ride Scholarship can be used for an ISA program and covers the full program fee. In order to be considered for this scholarship, all applicants must apply and meet the eligibility requirements for one of the other ISA scholarships by the deadline. There will be one GO Full-Ride Scholarship awarded per year.

Deadlines:
Summer: February 28th Fall: April 30 Winter/Spring: October 30th

Guidelines/Requirements:
• Be accepted to a WorldStrides study abroad, internship, or community engagement program. • Have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA. • Have completed at least one year of college level foreign language or the equivalent. Courses must appear on official transcript. • Be enrolled in second or third year of undergraduate education at a U.S. university/college at time of program participation. • Be on financial aid. FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) and home university Award Letter/form required. **Please refer to the ISA scholarship page for more information on guidelines/requirements.

We believe in expanding access and increasing opportunities for individuals from various backgrounds to become global learners by reducing financial barriers. This scholarship is intended for summer and semester students looking to create an impact on the world around them, bringing their own personal perspectives to an international experience.

2 x $1,000 for Summer Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Fall Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Winter/Spring Programs
