About

Milan is Italy's center for fashion, finance and commerce. This modern, cosmopolitan city is home to several trade and fashion shows year round. In addition to being Italy's commerce capital, Milan hosts many of Italy's cultural delights such as the Duomo, Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper, and Castello Sforzesco. The city of Milan offers many educational opportunities for study abroad students. Taking courses at The Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy's premier private university, students will be taking courses with locals in English and Italian in the disciplines of business, communication, Italian language and fashion merchandising!

  • Milan, known as the fashion capital of the world, is home to the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II, which is the oldest active shopping mall in Italy.

  • Italy, and southern Europe in general, has a laid- back culture. If you are interested in working to live, Italy is the place for you.

  • The Italian peninsula is largely located in the Mediterranean Sea, with over 7,600 kilometers of coastline.

  • Europe’s three active volcanoes are all located in Italy: Etna and Stromboli are in Sicily, and Vesuvius is in the Campania region.

  • The historical sites in Italy make for a very unique learning experience.
