My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. I learned an immense amount about myself. Let's put it this way, after I came back, my entire life goals had changed. I am currently in the field of international education, even though my BSBA was in Finance. My experience abroad impacted me perhaps more than most people in the program. I did not "hang out" with the Americans in my group, but ventured off to have friends from Spain.
