WorldStrides Study Abroad in Sevilla, Spain - Veritas Christian Study Abroad

Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia, is the fourth-largest city in Spain and offers students opportunities to explore Spain's culture, language and history. Blending tradition and modernity, Sevilla is as relaxed as it is energetic, with boundless sunshine, non-stop flamenco dancing, and countless tapas bars. Located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, student mobility around the city is unmatched with easy access to metro, bus, tram, and bicycle. Recognized for the largest Semana Santa celebration in the country and spectacular turnouts for the Feria de Abril, students will be able to stand alongside local Sevillanos to partake in these unsurpassable Spanish festivities. 

Each Veritas program includes a Mission Mentor who disciples Veritas students in their experiences through prayer, reflection, and spiritual support as well as connects them to ministry partners and local churches. The International Mission/Service-Learning Practicum provides a great opportunity to reinforce the cross-cultural missions experience in-country. Students will receive college credits for the reflection activities, journal entries, and cultural research which enhance the overall experience.  

Fall and Spring semester students will take one three-credit Veritas course and the International Missions/Service-Learning Practicum (1-3 credits). Students will have the opportunity to choose from a broad selection of other courses from the Roehampton University catalog to maintain full-time status and fulfill their academic requirements.
