A student studying abroad with The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Singapore - Singapore Management University
Studying abroad is SO worthwhile and I would recommend it to just about anyone! Not only did I learn about Singapore and the culture there, but studying abroad taught me a lot about traveling (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam) which allowed me to learn about even more cultures and lifestyles. - Clemson University View Entire Review
Extremely worthwhile. I highly recommend if someone is considering going to do it. Singapore as a country is so advanced that it truly opens your eyes to another way a country is run - Cornell University View Entire Review

About

Spend a semester or summer in Singapore at Singapore Management University. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience the country’s diverse and vibrant cultures while enrolling at one of Asia’s top business schools. Founded in 2000 with collaboration from world-class institutions, Singapore Management University is one of the youngest institutions in the world to achieve both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. The semester-long Asian Studies Certificate program promotes a true cross-cultural learning environment with specially-designed courses focusing on a variety of Asian countries and their politics, language, business practices and development. The campus is conveniently located in the city center within easy distance of art galleries, cafes, restaurants and shops. Outside of class, spend time wandering the city’s many ethnic neighborhoods, participating in a Sentosa Island beach festival or simply relaxing along the water!
