Study Abroad with Abroadia
"I gained a new perspective. We lived a pretty minimalist life for that week. We definitely had less access to the outside world, social media, etcetera. I honestly really enjoyed the break from social media and technology. "

"I learned to appreciate even more the things that I have back home. I learned the value of certain resources that here in America, we might just look past. Aside from the essential things, I actually learned some incredible rhythms, musically, that I couldn’t have predicted would actually stick to my mind."
Daniel G Austin Community College

Cuba is a beautiful country, and their struggles should not be overlooked. I learned the importance of changing American attitudes ..."

"I gained a better understanding of myself and the world around me. I was very nervous at first since I had never flown abroad alone before, but the second I stepped out of the Havana airport I was greeted by Abroadia and I knew I never wanted to leave. "

This was very evident after just days that m..."

"I learned about the history of Cuba and the everlasting impact of the revolution which ended in the 20th century. I learned about food, architecture, culture, and more."
Lawrence P University of New Hampshire
"I learned so much about a country that is so close yet so mystical. I feel like just being there and learning from locals and seeing it for myself is the most worthwhile. The trip had opportunities to really expand my understanding of global relations as well as history and the arts. I really enjoyed my time in Cuba!"
Jana Bushway University of New Hampshire
"Take chances and try new things "

"While being in Cuba, I learned a lot about the complexities of class. Specifically, I learned about the possible relationship of capitalism and socialism, the ways in which they can work against yet with each other, and the effects of both situations. "
