Cornell’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (AAP) offers immersive, studio-driven global programs that expand the boundaries of design education. Through Cornell in Rome, students study architecture, art, urban planning, and visual studies within the historic Palazzo Santacroce. Small cohorts benefit from close faculty mentorship, interdisciplinary courses, and field trips across Italy that blend design practice with cultural and historical exploration. Complementing this is the AAP NYC experience—based in the heart of Manhattan—where students engage directly with one of the world’s most dynamic urban centers through studio work, seminars, and professional connections.

Both programs are fully integrated into Cornell’s curriculum, offering academic credit without delaying degree progress. Students continue paying standard tuition, with financial aid and scholarship opportunities available to support their participation.
