|
Direct Enrollment/Exchange is a program provider offering 1872 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad, Internship, Volunteer, Intensive Language, Gap Year, Graduate Program, High School, Research, Online Program, TEFL Courses, and Adventure Travel abroad programs in 121 countries such as Spain, Venezuela, The United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Below you will find a directory of foreign universities and reviews from students who participated in an exchange, or in direct enrollment.
In a Direct Enrollment program, students have the option of applying directly to the university they wish to attend abroad. Students can go for either one or two semesters and apply using that university's application process listed for international students. Sometimes these students are called Visiting Students, Guest Students or Free Movers. At the foreign university, they will be supported by the university's office of international students, housed with other international students and have the opportunity not only to immerse in a foreign culture, but to do so with students from all over the world.
In an Exchange, you attend a foreign university and a foreign student attends your home university, a student swap for a semester or year. Your university will handle the details of the exchange, you just need to find the ideal foreign university. Hopefully the listings and reviews below can help you down that path. You will need to contact your university's study abroad department or your academic advisor for details on the exchange because the number of valid/active exchange partners may be very limited.

"I loved BsAs. I am going back in a few months for another semester with ISA. I hope to one day move to the city if I can. This experience has made me want to continue traveling."
Yudi M Wright State University
"Yes, I learned a lot outside of the classroom. The place makes you extremely streetsmart, and the people there remind you to enjoy the smaller things in life, and cherish the things you have. It helps you disconnect from the digital world and enjoy life, love, and natural beauty. "

"Living in Ankara will truly teach you the difference between westernization and Modernization. Especially if you make a trip to Georgia during your stay. Turkey truly is a place where east meets west."
John S Middle East Technical University
"I can't imagine my experience in college without my time in Paris. I'm still in close contact with the many friends I made there. "

Neha R DePauw University
"Yes. Even if I hadn't loved my program, which I did. Going abroad is an experience every student should have. At your home university, it is so easy to get caught up in the little things and to think that grades and classes are all that matter, but when you're abraod, your whole perspective on life changes and you begin to see t..."

"I did not like the school. However, being independent while living in the city centre of Dublin was the most amazing experience ever. I may not have like one of my roommates, but get out of the apartment and explore! That's what made my trip worthwhile."
Judy S Utica College of Syracuse University
"yes"
Curtis K Alliant International University
"Yes! I had the time of my life and met so many great friends. Along with the ability to travel, when I was not traveling the time I spent at the university was amazing. The overall openness to me from my flat mates was really nice. It changed my mind about what I want to do after I graduate, and I am now hoping to get a job ..."

"If I had different expectations it would have been better but as a whole I am glad I went. It is a beautiful area. I learned a lot about poverty which was and still is an area of economic research I want to explore."
Michael I Tulane University
"It was the best experience of my life. It just teaches you so much about yourself. Living on your own in a country that is foreign to you and speaks a different language allows you to mature as a person and really grow up. "

"A great trip for those wanting to get out of the country to meet life long friends."
Jake B University of Hawaii - Manoa
"Many aspects contributed to the impact my trip had on me. I made several very close friends from different countries, which has caused me to make fewer assumptions when meeting new people and even when talking to my American friends. "I think it was a good experience. I did the long distance relationship thing which then fell apart when I got back so that kind of casts a negative light on a lot of things, but my experiences there were very fun and interesting most of the time."
Mac C Trinity University
"Definitely, I really enjoyed UCL! The best part was expanding my economics knowledge to a more global and applicable scale. I learned more in my courses abroad than I thought I would and these skills along with the international exposure has allowed me to grow and become a more marketable person. "
Alice L Wellesley College
