"I speak really good Spanish. I went to South America. These are the things I wanted to accomplish and I did."
Catherine B Tufts University
"It was great to see such a laid back country. I can't describe the amount of great things I did/see. "
Benjamin M Ithaca College
"Studying abroad made me more confident and increased my global awareness. The food was great, as were all the historical sights. It was really neat to try out a different way of living, even if most of it didn't stick. I was able to take classes that counted towards general education requirements at home. Push yourself out of yo..."
Heather K Ithaca College
"It was absolutely worthwhile and had an amazing time, I just wish I had done a lot of things differently. Future students: do not let anything hold you back while you are there, you will regret it. Take advantage of everything!!!"
Amy T Ithaca College
"Maybe some things about the IES program could have been better, but many other things could have been worse. It's worth it just to go and see what happens. The program enabled me to go to Paris, which is what I really wanted. It also enabled me to travel outside of Paris, which was something else I wanted. I got what I wante..."
Sarah D Ithaca College
"Yes i cant wait to go back and visit. I miss the culture and the way of life over there. I was able to travel to a lot of different countries also since it was very cheap to travel"
Scott K Anonymous University
"It was definitely worthwhile. I am so glad I went. While I may not have really enjoyed the IES program, I don't regret going at all. It really made me notice how little we are taught about Latin America and other countries in general, especially the political and economic histories. "
Rachel S Ithaca College
"Study abroad was an unbelievable opportunity that broadened my horizons to a world beyond the US. I was given the opportunity to see how students behave in a different country and how norms vary across the world. I traveled Europe and learned so much inside and outside of the classroom. "
Brittany R Tufts University
"Incredibly. see above answers this form is to long"
Sarah C Barnard College
"I absolutely loved it! I learned a lot about myself and would not trade this semester for anything. "

"My study abroad experience was so worth it. Nothing can describe the amount of knowledge and lifelong friendships I have gained. Japan was a wonderful trip, however very VERY expensive. More scholarships should be given!!"
Golden G University of Hartford
"Yes it was. I can't put into words what i have gained. it was amazing."

"The musical experiences were invaluable. The University of Hartford is completely incapable of giving a legitimate education. The experience is what you make of it. You can either take in everything the city has to offer, or study while taking a 5 month vacation. I saw many students do the latter, and I know they won't regret th..."

"I loved studying abroad. I loved the friends I made and the independence of being half way around the world but still being able to communicate with home. I loved having the time to travel so much and to learn a lot about another culture that we barely ever hear about in the US. My university classes really helped me learn a lot..."
