IES Abroad is a program provider offering 119 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad, Internship, Intensive Language, and Online Program abroad programs in 18 countries such as Netherlands, South Africa, The United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
IES Abroad provides opportunities for students to thrive abroad with program options that fit majors and interests—backed by a high-quality, immersive experience, on-site support, impactful financial aid, and an inclusive community.
IES Abroad experiences are:
- Priced for quality: The program fee includes tuition, housing, and health insurance, along with high-quality predeparture and on-site support, small class sizes, and the opportunity for field trips and immersive experiences.
- Fully supported 24/7: Time-saving visa support and trusted local staff to help with health, housing, and safety, no matter what comes up—or when!
- Designed to count toward graduation while offering a global perspective: Hands-on learning and excursions, led by respected experts in their fields, take your experience beyond the classroom to gain international exposure. We work with university partners to ensure program approval and credit transfer.
- Impactful with real career benefits: 65% of IES Abroad alumni say study abroad was very/extremely influential on their career path and 64% say it contributed to career advancement.
- Generously supported by $7.9 million in financial aid awarded annually: Need-based aid awarded to students applying from consortium member institutions expands access to study abroad.
