"Studying abroad in Chile opened my eyes to so many things. It really helped me grow as a person and has definitely shaped my future career plans. After traveling around South America and taking a class about environmental policy, I have now decided that I want to go on to get my Masters in Public Health and work in environment..."

"I assumed tremendous debt for this trip, and I don't regret it at all. I have come to appreciate my Fordham education so much more. Furthermore, living abroad with British students has profoundly changed me and my outlook on the world. I am more confident, independent, and brave for having lived abroad. I wouldn't trade my exper..."

Kelsey C The University of Texas at Austin
"I learned to slow down and enjoy life, to actually listen when I talk to people, that the world is an amazing place. I learned that a lot of our preconceived notions about Latin America are completely wrong. I have fallen in love with South America, and while I will most likely not pursue a career or life there, I will no doubt ..."
Brian G DePauw University
"It was absolutely amazing. I already miss it and it's been less than 2 weeks since the program ended. It's so much fun and I learn so much about things I assume. In England, internet is NOT everywhere, there's not even internet in Starbucks, the only place with free wi-fi is McDonald's. Also there's a 1 GB bandwidth limit on int..."

"I loved it. I couldn't get enough. For me, it was mostly about the people I met. Of course, the course was fine and I learned that I really do want to go into design (so yes, it impacted my future plans), but I think what I took away from the experience was the friendships."

"I became more independent and mature. I loved being abroad in Europe and I would like to maybe volunteer or study abroad again during law school."
Kristen C Providence College
"Well, as I said in my course description, I'm now writing an honors thesis at my home university based on the British Constitution and what I learned in Professor Hazell's class. I am much more experienced as a traveler and thus am more confident in my abilities to go places on my own than I have been. I was able to see family..."

"During my study abroad experience I learned more about myself and the things I enjoy that I may never have taken part in had I not gone abroad. "I had a wonderful time, and made the best friends who I am planning to go spend a couple weeks now 2 years later. I loved Scotland, the people were so friendly. "It teaches you a lot about yourself, and about what you like in life and what you would like to do. It was an invaluable experience, but I would defeinitely reccommend going with a friend, and if you don't like to drink, and/or are involved in your faith community at home, don't expect to find that in Ireland. "
Kevin B Providence College
"This was the best time of my life. It is great because you get to meet a completely new set of friends from all over the world and learn a lot about a new culture. However, it is similar enough that you will not experience culture shock very much. I absolutely loved every minute of it. Make sure you go on One Fish Two Fish f..."
