At Jerusalem University College, studying abroad becomes a deeply immersive, experiential journey across Israel and Jordan. Students walk through ancient landmarks like the City of David, sail across the Sea of Galilee, hike landscapes of Edom, and climb extinct volcanoes with sweeping views—engaging directly with biblical history and modern Middle Eastern culture.
Offering both semester-length and short-term programs, JUC invites learners to study the history, geography, religions, languages, and modern cultures of the region. Participants learn from distinguished Israeli and Palestinian faculty, and may explore beyond Israel through optional extensions into Jordan. Both undergraduate and graduate students—whether from consortium partner institutions or elsewhere—can enroll in these academically rigorous programs and transfer credits back to their home institutions.
JUC has also recently taken on the Middle East Studies Program (MESP) from the CCCU, continuing a legacy of over three decades of Christian higher education in the region. Through this program, students engage in immersive study that integrates culture, faith, and service in transformative learning environments.
