Dontez L Berea College
"To be honest, the actual time spent in class was lackluster, at least with the classes I took, and the assignments were ridiculously easy. But the tours and on site lectures that the group had as a whole were really good, and there's a lot of opportunities to learn and do things on your own. The museums are amazing, and even if ..."

"I learned about a whole new culture where they are more into peace with others and about a religion that is not Christianity. I would suggest to everyone to visit Japan at least once. "

"I learned that it is better to immerse yourself in another culture when given the opportunity. I learned so much about Japan while I was there, as opposed to reading a book. The locals will always know more than what a book or magazine describes. Overall, I would come back and live there if I could."

"I learned that there isn't some mystical magical veil over countries abroad. It's just another place like where we live with people like us. Yes, the culture and architecture is different, but it's also much older than ours and that is where the beauty lies for me. I was very grateful for this opportunity and would love to have ..."

"I learned about myself in the sense of being more of a global citizen. Being outside of the US, I realized that it was not the greatest country in the world. It is just another country on this planet. It had its own social, political, and economic problems when I was away. Sure, Americans are better off than many people, but tha..."
