"I learned a lot about Peruvian perceptions and lifestyle, as well as a lot about the environment in Perú (particularly about oil/gas companies in the rainforest, etc.). I also wouldn't trade the friendships and family I had for anything! "

"I learned so much about public health, specifically within the context of Afro-Brazilian culture. It was so fascinating to note how both Western medicine and the alternative Candomblé religion can work in conjunction to help patients or conversely conflict tremendously with each other. I absolutely feel in love with the Brazilia..."

"I had a wonderful connection with the other students on my program. It was worthwhile to visit this area of Brazil and get to travel around the Northeast.
