The Island School offers transformative semester and summer educational programs for high school students worldwide. Situated on Eleuthera Island in The Bahamas, our campus utilizes the surrounding ocean and environment as dynamic classrooms. In collaboration with the Cape Eleuthera Institute, a renowned hub for environmental and conservation research, we provide immersive, place-based learning experiences. Our mission, "Leadership effecting change," guides students to develop a deep sense of place, model sustainable living, and cultivate intentional community engagement. Through hands-on research and interdisciplinary studies, students gain insights into native ecosystems and environmental sustainability, preparing them to inspire change both locally and globally.
