At Trinity College, we are proud to offer a portfolio of immersive, faculty-led study away programs that reflect our commitment to academic excellence, global citizenship, and experiential learning. Through our signature Trinity programs, students can earn full Trinity credit while engaging deeply with local cultures and communities in some of the world’s most dynamic cities.

Our semester-long programs in Cape Town, Rome, and Vienna are built around rigorous coursework, integrated fieldwork, and opportunities for cultural immersion. Each location offers a unique academic focus—from social justice and public health in South Africa, to art, architecture, and politics in Italy and Austria. Students live in community-based housing, take classes with both Trinity faculty and local experts, and explore their host country through excursions and service opportunities.

We also offer the Trinity/La MaMa Performing Arts Program in New York City, a transformative experience where students train with professionals and engage in the city’s vibrant arts scene while developing original performance work.

In addition to semester programs, Trinity provides summer and January-term opportunities, including a popular five-week summer session in Rome, where students study history, politics, art, and language in one of the world’s most culturally rich cities.
