"I gained a better sense of independence and I learned to take care of myself and say yes to more opportunities. This experience was absolutely worthwhile, and I am still in shock that I was able to go to Ireland and live there for four months. Like, what? It was the best time of my life."

"I learned that even though every city is completely different, filled of its own treasures, people are the same more or less everywhere. From each friend I made from different countries I took a small piece of their culture and added it to my own. I learned it is much better to have a diverse understanding of the world"
Kaitlyn DeTrinis SUNY - College at New Paltz
"From my experience abroad, I have learned to be independent, and confident in my abilities to travel alone and have 'adult' responsibilities (cooking for myself without a meal plan, having to schedule how I spend my money). This program was definitely worthwhile because it has taught me how to be a responsible student. "
Alexandra Saliani SUNY - College at New Paltz
"Worth it for sure. I learned a lot about how to live in a different culture and just how much culture infiltrates out everyday personalities and we don't even know it."

"I learned Spanish really well. I also learned about Argentine culture and met fascinating people from all over the world."

"YES!!! Sooo many, too many to list. I came back with just an overall awareness of life and myself. I want to change things here and start with changing myself. It was really an eye-opening experience in many ways and I am sooooo glad that I went on the trip. I just want to learn more and more about their system and learn how..."
