"Ireland is a beautiful country with wonderful people. It was so much fun being in the city throughout the week and then being able to disappear to the lush green countryside on the weekends! Traveling throughout the country is very easy and not too expensive, which allowed me to see Ireland in its entirety!"

"Studying abroad in Ireland this past summer was by far the best decision I could have made. From the people I met to the places I was able to travel to, it was overall an incredible experience. I can't recommend studying through IES enough--the staff is so enthusiastic about helping you to optimize your time abroad and they are ..."

"My experience at Sophia University was certainly worthwhile! The small campus atmosphere too away from my anxiety about being abroad in a country where I didn't speak the language. I made many friends from a variety of different countries and learned a lot about different cultures. Some things you just have to experience yoursel..."

"I learned more than was taught in my intro bio classes: I learned how to be self sufficient, how to adapt to a brand new culture, how to appreciate a history that wasn't my own, how to travel in countries where I don't speak the language, and how to stand on my own. I made many friends (albeit friends from california) and travel..."

"I feel like I learned a lot about myself. Going abroad for a full semester is not easy. Some days you get frustrated and homesick. But I would not trade it. I feel like Argentina became my home and I was so sad to leave. Argentina will put you out of your comfort zone. It is not as americanized as Europe. I feel like I gained a ..."

"Incredibly hard to describe. I made a wide range of friends and acquaintances, grew as a person in so many ways, began to learn a new language, and became more and more comfortable in my own skin while in a foreign land. On the whole, the experience was undoubtedly worthwhile. I have grown, and even changed, as a person in ways ..."
