"This experience was entirely worthwhile and it didn't hurt that the backdrop to it all was gorgeous Maastricht. I learned to be more independent and to really find happiness doing the things I wanted and felt I needed to do, even though they ended up being completely different from what I had imagined my study abroad experience ..."

"I now have a certificate for the HSK level 5, meaning I can now direct enroll in a university in china. It's also the benchmark for chinese businesses. I would not have that certificate if I hadn't gone to IUP. I took this test last summer after a different program and I didn't pass or receive the certificate. This absolutely i..."

"I learned how to be more independent, and study the things I thought worthwhile on my own time. "

"I got to travel throughout Japan and East Asia, meet some great international friends as well as a few Japanese friends, and improve may Japanese a fair amount so I would say it was definitely worthwhile."

"Definitely worthwhile. I no longer "bike like an American" which I was told in the beginning. Note: if you go to Uppsala the first thing you should do is buy a bike! I made some good friends, got a lot of insight into Swedish culture and improved my Swedish, and became addicted to coffee after a dark winter and many "fika" brea..."

"It changed my worldview and me as a person. I learned so much about myself, fellow students, Italy and the world at large. I think it is an experience everyone should have."
A student Tufts University
"Where to begin! It was so much more than worthwhile. There are some things that I can't really put into words, they haven't even quite realized themselves yet. The immediate thing I feel is a wonderful sensation of being grounded and humble and curious about the world. Obviously learning a language in such a short amount of time..."

"This changed my life. The people in Spain are incredible and the staff members of Tufts in Madrid are so friendly and open. I learned so much from the culture, the people, and the program. "
Bronwen R Tufts University
"It was an incredibly worthwhile experience. I gained a greater sense of independence and ease in social interactions. I also, of course, improved my Spanish level immensely and gained a greater understanding of the Spanish culture."

"I learned so much about myself, about Moroccan/Arab/Islamic culture, about life, etc. It was so worthwhile--I encourage everyone to consider it! It's so much better, in my opinion, than the European semester abroad--especially for those of you with wanderlust who have been to Europe before. Going abroad in Morocco will be much d..."

"I cant deal with this question right now"

"Yes -- it was one of the most worthwhile experiences I've ever had. I learned how to adjust to a different culture; how to behave in a professional office environment; how to fix problems by myself; I learned a lot of Spanish; I learned how to be more humble; I learned that the world is a huge amazing place filled with wonderful..."

"While there were many aspects of this experience that I didn't love, it's definitely not an experience that I regret. I met people on my program who will be my friends for life. No matter where you live abroad, you will always learn something about yourself. Through going abroad I learned so much about myself, and about what I w..."

"I am confident that I will never have such an amazing experience at an internship again. Working for a Member of Parliament was incredible and the experiences I had were well worth it. "
David F Tufts University
"Since this was the program's first semester, my friends and I were sometimes frustrated, but it was so worthwhile. I learned the basics of journalism and I learned all about Morocco. "
A student Tufts University
"I would recommend this program to anyone, as annoying as study abroad cliches are: it really was life-changing."
James M Tufts University
"It was absolutely worthwhile. I was so sad to leave. I made great friends, ate great food and learned a lot--not just in class, but from a new daily pattern that I got used to. "
