"I learned a lot about myself and pushed myself out of my comfort zone. A lot of things about CYA are comfortable - my courses were in English, and I lived in an apartment with other Americans - but it definitely provide tons of opportunities to try new things and meet interesting people. "

"It changed my whole outlook on planning for the future. I'm interested in finding joy in whatever I do now instead of constantly preparing for an end goal and working too hard to see what's going on in the moment. Absolutely worthwhile."
Lucie L Wellesley College
"Yes, I made great friends and had a fulfilling academic experience."
A student Wellesley College
"Absolutely worthwhile. I learned a tremendous amount about living on my own, how to take care of myself, and how I react to new situations. The language immersion was wonderful, which I didn't think I'd enjoy before I left for France. The courses at the FAC were an experience, probably most useful for highlighting differences in..."

"I learned that I love to travel and meet new people and that I can do it, on my own or with friends. I learned not to be afraid to try something new or go somewhere new. You don't always need someone else with you to go out and do what you want."
A student Wellesley College
"I learned a remarkable amount about myself and what I need or don't want to bother with. I also have a far greater understanding of my academic capabilities and feel as if I could confidently enter a graduate programme now instead of heading back to Wellesley for my senior year. The experience was most certainly worthwhile. "
Elizabeth G Wellesley College
"I learned that study abroad programs are really catered towards a particular student. I also learned that a lot of Americans are ignorant about global issues regardless of how much they learn inside the classroom. This particular study abroad program really tried to integrate the American students into its culture and I also saw..."
