"Experienced a very different education system and school that was big and had no traditional campus. The city enhanced my time there, and I took advantage of museums. Was worthwhile."

"It was definitely worthwhile. I've lived in other countries before but it was great to be able to live in such a friendly country and learn how to navigate by myself. "

"Absolutely worthwhile. SIT's formatting and its staff training are fantastic for this sort of experience with this sort of learning. I love my SIT staff, my family, my SIT friends, my Rwandese friends, my memories."
Julia K Wellesley College
"My French improved. I was able to take better notes in class and speak it more fluently. But being an international student, I've already seen the culture and knew what to expect in France, so the experience in Paris and Aix didn't really fascinate me. "

"This was the most worthwhile experience of my life. I learned a lot about myself by being in a place where I knew not one person going in and after 4 months came out with what I hope will be a group of lifelong friends. "I made friends from all over Europe and learned about the vast differences between European and American attitudes towards a variety of subjects. Yes it was worth it, I can't explain how much more open-minded I am now that I've been to so many countries."
A student Wellesley College
"It was completely worthwhile because I learned more about myself and about learning, but I felt that this was more from personal development from my own initiative than from the academic program itself. "I learned that I am capable of striking out on my own and growing comfortable in a new environment. I was able to see that the developing world is not as far out of reach as it seems and I loved the chance to learn about human rights from a non-western perspective. The overall experience was certainly worthwhile. "
A student Wellesley College
"Studying abroad in always worthwhile - whether it was a positive or a negative experience. I learned a lot about myself, I became really interested in international affairs and I improved my French. "
Marisa M Wellesley College
"I had a wonderful connection with the other students on my program. It was worthwhile to visit this area of Brazil and get to travel around the Northeast. It was a worthwhile experience, but I would have wanted a program that gave us a better idea of safety, allowed us to voice complaints about host families, and gave us more co..."
