"Most definitely my study abroad experience was worthwhile. It gave me confidence and independence. I live an hour away from Wellesley so this was the first time I've spent a significant amount of time away from home, navigating a city on my own. I made amazing friends and experienced a wonderful culture. I'm so grateful to have ..."

"Loved it - I have a better understanding now about what it's like to be a foreigner in a new country where you need to work at understanding the language and culture. "It was definitely worthwhile and rewarding, but I did have certain complaints about the program. I was pretty sure of what I wanted to do with my future prior to the program, and the program confirmed my goals. I want to study anthropology at the graduate level, and having field research experience will definitely be an asset ..."

"Studying abroad was my first time out of the United States. So I immediately gained a lot of perspective. Living in a foreign country was difficult at times, but well worth the experience. I enjoyed learning other people's perspectives on mathematics and other things, such as politics. I had a lot of great conversations. "

"Absolutely. It completely changed my academic plans: I was wavering between the future path of my double major, but after my courses and living in the actual world that I was learning about, I was able to make a decision for Anthropology and the fact that I want to live abroad as an adult. "
Simonetta G Wellesley College
"It was a humbling experience, because the students I was with are really exceptional, and it was a strange thing to find myself in the middle of the pack. However, it's also hurt my confidence a little bit in Physics, and I'll need to see if I'm really going to put Physics before Computer Science (my minor) in the end. It was ..."
