"So worthwhile. Changed my life. I'd never been to Europe and have now been to 8 countries, and lived for an entire year in one of them. I've had a career path opened up that I'm not even sure I'll pursue, but I never want to lose my Italian or my Italian friends now that I've had such an incredible experience. Offered me the cha..."

"My study abroad experience definitely marks the best 5 months of my life. I made some incredible life-long friends while I was in Australia and got to visit some amazing sites. Furthermore, I feel that I've obtained a heightened sense of maturity due to my experience abroad. You are forced to live completely on your own, which c..."

"I really enjoyed studying in St Andrews; I learned a lot in my classes that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to study at Wellesley, but I found it pretty isolated from the rest of Scotland."
Anna P Wellesley College
"In terms of learning German, probably not. This was particularly difficult, despite my best efforts. I did gain a much better understanding of Austrian politics, culture, and history through my study abroad experience. Most of this is the result of my own interest (I read the paper every day, discussed politics with Austrian..."
Megan H Wellesley College
"It was worthwhile, but had definite drawbacks in terms of the culture in Austria (very xenophobic and unfriendly). It was also not as much of a help to my German language skills as I had hoped because the German spoken in Austria is very different from the German spoken in Germany and taught in America. "

"It's an amazing experience, I grew a lot as a person and realized how happy socialism can make people. This program is great because you travel a lot and you're exposed to many different Southeast Asian cultures, which you cannot get everywhere. "

Sally S Wellesley College
"I am happy that I studied abroad because I learned a lot about the culture and myself. I feel like I now understand what it feels like to be out of your element and trying to figure everything out. I also feel like I have a better grasp on what multicultural really means. I would recommend study abroad for anyone who wants to..."
