"Learning about different cultures and mindsets outside of the United States helped me to gain perspective of what it meant to be a student within my community. Being exposed to such a different environment not only helped me to view myself in an alternative and novel way but also appreciate the uniqueness of my home. "

"I chose London because I wanted to PROVE to myself that I could make it in a big city, manage a budget, and cook for myself. It taught me a lot about myself, how I socialize, and how I work best, and it really showed me a lot of my weaknesses (which I can now work on). Whereas at Wellesley there's lots of padding in terms of gra..."

"I absolutely loved my time at the LSE. I was pushed academically and personally, and I was able to see much more of Europe than I had anticipated. While certain aspects of the LSE's academic system--like its exam-oriented structure--were overwhelming at times, I was able to find the support I needed from other LSE students and f..."

"I learned that it is indeed possible to write and read for two essays in the span of a week or less. In particular for the political science program, I very much appreciate the comparative and institutional approach to many of the topics within comparative politics. My knowledge concerning topics ranging from civil war to legisl..."

"I learned so much about the world and myself through this experience. South Africa is an amazing place to study ecology, as the environments are so biologically diverse.
