Absolutely worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself and my perspective on the world. Argentina gave me a framework to view events in my life, and it has certainly shaped me in many facets. James B - University of San Diego View Entire Review
Gained knowledge about business abroad and the importance of hands on experience. A student - College of Saint Scholastica View Entire Review
Very worthwhile. Many of the things in the travel books were inaccurate. You can't gain knowledge of international business without experiencing it. Larissa T - College of Saint Scholastica View Entire Review
My Spanish improved so much, and my confidence in speaking it did as well. I learned that I could adapt, even in difficult situations, and now have a desire to live abroad at some point in my life. I gained a lot of confidence knowing I could go to a non-English speaking country without knowing very much of the language and stil... A student - Western Washington University View Entire Review
Every time I travel I learn how to appreciate some things about the states while also finding a need for change in other areas of our culture. It is ALWAYS exciting. Even the stressful or bad will change you forever when in a new environment. I would say almost all in a good way. Griffin S - College of Charleston View Entire Review
It was definitely worthwhile. It completely opened my eyes to a new culture and especially how others view the U.S. I am now sure that I want to live/work/get masters abroad. I can't wait to go back! Andriana A - University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse View Entire Review

I learned a ton about Spanish grammar and gained invaluable language immersion in Buenos Aires, which helped my fluency immensely. The experience of living in a huge city was a life lesson in and of itself. Going abroad cemented my thought that maybe Spanish isn't just a hobby for me---I realized that I really want to find a c... Kim M - Cornell College View Entire Review
I have definitely improved my confidence in speaking Spanish. Coming from a smaller city, I learned a lot about how to live in such a fast-paced area, as well. Above all, I have learned so much about the culture and history of Argentina in a very hands-on way. Shannon W - University of South Florida View Entire Review
I had no idea how much my view of the United States and the World as a whole was going to change from leaving my home and learning how to think on my own. I have become so much more responsible and independent. Since this experience I am planning on doing more traveling and going to graduate school in a Spanish-speaking country! A month wasn't long enough to really have a chance to speak, especially to natives (for someone who is already fluent. I am able to share cultural information with my students now. Jenny A - Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville View Entire Review

This was a great experience. It was a different environment that I'd previously been in contact with. I met so many people that impacted my perspective. It was interesting how the culture was different but the thing that surprised me most was that the issues that they faced were the same as in the U.S. and elsewhere. I guess... I think that personally the experience allowed me to mature a lot. It is funny how much a language can isolate you at first and force you to become closer to people who you otherwise may not have encountered. My time here has given me a great appreciation of how different a countries culture can be, something which I think you h... Henry M - University of San Diego View Entire Review

I think being abroad made me see things I never would have at home, it made me more independent and adventurous and willing to try things that I wouldn't normally be comfortable with. Tara A - University of Arizona View Entire Review
I learned a lot, but most of what I learned came from when I traveled around before and after my program. Being there was not the best because Argentinians are difficult to befriend and there is no support from the program provider or the university to facilitate this. I learned a lot of Spanish which was good, but it made me ap... Sarah C - University of Florida View Entire Review
I saw the nuances of a culture from the inside. I gained a whole new perspective on my own life in the U.S. and really evaluated the goals I have for myself. I was already interested, and studying, international business before I went to Argentina, but now that "international" part is calling to me a lot more than business. The ... Wow. My study abroad experience was more than worthwhile. If I could do it again, I definitely would. There are times that I wished I would have picked a more typically South American country - like Peru, but in the end, I loved Argentina and Buenos Aires. It was great living in a country where everyone talks about sports and po... Caroline A - University of South Carolina - Columbia View Entire Review
