It definitely was!!! Not only did I have the opportunity to make new friends, I also learned alot about the Italian culture, and had the chance to travel and see more of Europe. I love the European food, their architecure and lifestyle, and cannot wait to go back!!! Melanie A - University of Kansas View Entire Review
I don't think the program has so much changed my academic interests and future plans, but it has definitely changed my life. Being able to go abroad, successfully complete two courses in a short amount of time, and navigate my way through Europe has proven to me that I can do anything. I would recommend studying abroad to ever... Kathleen K - University of Iowa View Entire Review
I learned how to throw myself into difficult situations, and get around without knowing the language. I learned how to deal with stress and handle all different types of people. I learned that people are different, and may look and act differently, but on the inside everyone is the same. Treat everyone with respect. Holly S - University of Delaware View Entire Review
Very worthwhile! I didn't know what to expect before I went abroad, but I came back knowing a completely different cultural and how to interact with people you could not speak with. Jeff T - University of Iowa View Entire Review

What I liked most about CIMBA was that it is in a small, quaint Italian town where you get to experience authentic Italian life. It isn't a tourist area, and therefore was a very honest experience. We had 2 9-day travel breaks and 2 long weekends, allowing over 30 days of travel. I went to 32 different cities, 6 countries, and s... Stephanie G - Purdue University View Entire Review
Yes. It absolutely was. I can't yet even put down my understandings into words but I know that I have changed a lot and it became easier and easier to interact with different cultures the more I did it. Myranda H - University of Northern Colorado View Entire Review
I think if I didn't have a second program to go to after this one, I would have been very disappointed with my time in Italy. However, I learned a lot from being in this program. I learned how to communicate more in Italian and how to get around using the different types of transportation. I was able to overcome a lot of fear... Gabriela R - Texas Tech View Entire Review

Yes it was very worthwhile. Not only is studying abroad something that employers are looking to see in students because it shows independence it is always going to turn out different than you expected and most of the time that will be a great thing. It is good to realize that nothing is as you expect. Brittany D - University of Arkansas - Fayetteville View Entire Review
My study abroad experience was very worthwhile. I gained a greater since of independence and confidence by traveling alone to a foreign country and forcing myself out of my comfort zone. Kamille B - Oklahoma State University - Stillwater View Entire Review
