I learned how to better appreciate different cultures, different personalities, and myself. A student - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned to trust myself and my skills. I learned how to relate to another culture and navigate my way around the city, being flexible with the bumps, and still making it an adventure. Chelsea S - The Catholic University of America View Entire Review
Yes, it was absolutely worthwhile! ILoveArgentina - University of Rochester View Entire Review
No. I do not regret it. Howeverit was not a worthwhile study abroad. A student View Entire Review
This was an absolutely worthwhile experience. I gained an understanding of different people most importantly, and how interactions have the potential to affect your life forever if that is something that you seek. I feel like I am much more sensitive to cultural issues in the US now because I was able to see my home country thro... Erin D - Trinity University View Entire Review

I wouldn't be who I am today if I had not gone to Argentina for four months.I see more clearly now what I want to do with my life, and what I think is important in life. I also met some amazing people that I hope to never lose contact with. Many of them were Americans, but that does't bother me in the least. It's who the person ... I feel like I was pretty culturally aware before I went abroad, so living abroad, I was able to find my place in the culture very easily. Being able to call a country home when it is so different from what you're used to is truly one of the most amazing experiences. Kristin P - Providence College View Entire Review
It was worthwhile because I learned Spanish. For that I am extremely satisfied. zoe m - Barnard College View Entire Review

I am much more calm now; I've learned to prioritize and see big picture, making coming back to small-school drama very difficult. While some would avoid an experience abroad with so many Americans, I learned a lot about myself by being around so many people with similar tastes for travel and exploration. I wouldn't change a thin... Nicole C - Trinity University View Entire Review
My study abroad experience was amazing. I have reaffirmed the idea of wanting to travel after I graduate and possibly work in different parts of the world for some time. Paulina M - Trinity University View Entire Review
My experience was worthwhile. It opened my eyes to life in other parts of the world. Sandy G - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
It was great, I had a wonderful time and am looking at programs to teach abroad so I can return! I often reminisce about my time and look at pictures wishing I could go back right now. A student - Trinity University View Entire Review
I grew up 10 years this semester. Buenos Aires is a very chaotic city that needs an independent and strong person to move around. alekaz949 - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Yes. It was amazing to experience life from a foreigner's perspective. The people were so different in so many fascinating ways. Alison C - University of Michigan - Ann Arbor View Entire Review

Yes. Not only did I have a boatload of fun the entire time I was in Buenos Aires, but I learned some valuable perspective from living abroad and spending a solid amount of time with people from a different part of the world. You learn so much about politics, economics, "society," and international relations in general when you... Chris G - Davidson College View Entire Review

Absolutely. Learning a new culture that is so counter-US was extremely valuable. Although it was very challenging personally, socially and spiritually, I would not trade my personal growth for anything. Peter S - Texas Christian University View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself. I learned about my personal traits through group interaction, what I'm willing to give up and what I'm not. I learned about my weaknesses and conquered some of my fears. I also learned about stuff I still need to work on, personally. Study abroad did change my future plans, slightly. I know I w... Jennifer E - Trinity University View Entire Review
Yes. Mostly I gained independence and a confidence in being solitary. If anything, my eyes have opened to how lucky and yet limited I am to be born American. Jessalyn B - University of Rochester View Entire Review
After living in Buenos Aires I feel like I can do anything. I am much happier and much more confident. I want to see the world now, and I am completely confident that I can handle and adjust to anything. Katie H - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
