I definitely believe I became a better actor and am so much more globally aware now. Ireland is amazing and I think we have so much to learn from their history. Meriwether Lyman - University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill View Entire Review

The conservatory style of the Gaiety School of acting was incredible, I learned so much in just a few short months. I gained so many friends and our friendship will last a life time. I feel like this experience made me independent and really showed me what I could do on my own. It was life changing and really worthwhile. Jackie J - Manhattanville College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself. I learned that I'm a very independent person who doesn't mind feeling a bit like a fish out of water. I also learned I'm less shy than I thought I was, and that when put in a situation where I don't know anyone, I can make friends quickly. I also loved my experience in Ireland as a whole and I would... A student - Webster University View Entire Review
I did not think Ireland would be much different then the US. Don't be fooled by the fact they speak English. The folklore and history is captivating. Grace H - University of Michigan - Ann Arbor View Entire Review
Completely - 100%. Studying in Ireland opened my worldview completely and caused me to want to return to Europe ASAP. It made me reassess what I want out of my life and how to go about getting it. The best 4 months ever. Richard V - Point Park University View Entire Review
Definitely. I grew immensely as a theatre maker and as a person. Heather G - Denison University View Entire Review

I learned to trust myself. I gained confidence I never had before. I learned how to be self-sufficient. I learned how to prioritize. I grew into an adult through all the mistakes I made and all the successes I celebrated. I gained friends. Some who were even foreign to Ireland. I became so much more creative. I discovered... It was worth it because of the friends I made. The acting program was not what I was expecting. Callie R - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned about myself as a performer and it really pushed me more than I have been at my home university. Also, I loved living in Dublin. It made me aware of the different ways people see the world and how many different lifestlyes are out there. It's made me want to travel more and maybe even study in a foreign country again. About
You won’t need the luck of the Irish to have an unforgettable study abroad experience in Dublin. By directly enrolling at the National Theatre School of Ireland-Gaiety School of Acting (NTSI-GSA), you’ll have the joy of befriending the Irish, who are known for their hospitality. You’ll feel more at home knowing that Dublin has a young population (more than half of the city is under 25).
The National Theatre School of Ireland-Gaiety School of Acting specializes in conservatory acting. This program appeals primarily to those students who are ready for the challenge of adapting to an entirely new academic culture that requires significant independent work.
Dublin will also be your classroom. Take in an Irish play at Abbey Theatre, the country’s national theatre. Learn about Dublin’s history by exploring Dublin Castle which was built in 1204. Visit Trinity College Dublin to see The 7th Century Book of Kells, a masterful example of an illuminated manuscript, that is housed in its own climate controlled archive in the university’s old library. Welcome to study abroad!
