Living in a city abroad is so different from simply visiting a place on a vacation; when you live in a city, you really get immersed in the culture and customs of everyday life in that place. The changes in lifestyle that I experienced when I first arrived in Milan took a little time to get used to (i.e. the later dinner time,... - University of Rochester View Entire Review

I learned so much about myself and the world. It was most definitely worthwhile. - Tulane University View Entire Review
My language skills improved, as well as my self-reliance. I grew less scared of speaking and conversing in Italian. I also really appreciated the opportunity to fully pursue music studies for an entire semester, even though as a non-performance major I felt a real gap between the other music students and myself. - Fordham University View Entire Review

It was definitely worthwhile and gave me new insight into my own Italian heritage. I learned to be more adventurous and to seize advantage of opportunities- life is to short to second guess ourselves. Before studying abroad, I had always dreamed of traveling but had never had the opportunity to do so. Boarding that plane alone a... - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Absolutely it was worthwhile. And I don't think I can say that what it did for me will also happen to you. Like any learning experience, it depends on the student and how much they are willing to put into it. I can say that whatever you do, you will learn a lot about yourself and to me that's invaluable. - Purdue University View Entire Review
It was probably the best choice I have made to date. - Georgetown University View Entire Review

I learned more in my four months abroad about myself, from my classes, and from my travels than I have in my whole life prior. I made friends that will last a lifetime in this program and I'm so grateful to have had this experience. I learned a lot academically, socially, but mostly about myself. I learned a lot from the different professors I interacted with, and I learned the most from my boss (internship boss).
