I have learned so much from studying abroad, both classroom and real-world knowledge. It was such an amazing experience that it is difficult to put it into words. It was totally worthwhile. A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review

It was absolutely worthwhile because it gave me a strong sense of confidence to know that I could be so independent outside my comfort zone. The second to last week of my time of South America, I traveled to Brazil by myself for 10 days, without knowing Portuguese and it was one of the best opportunities I've ever experienced. I... Everything Ive pretty mush already said. It also made me appreciate the US more, but made me realize that I need that adventure of the unknown in my life. Emily G - Tulane University View Entire Review
YES! Improved my Spanish, traveled, learned how to problem solve and live on my own, adapt to different living situations, experienced a different university, made great friends in a different country, etc. Sarina S - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned how to plan and travel around South America without any outside help, I learned how to successfully navigate the public transportation system, I learned how to successfully communicate with people in another language, and most importantly I learned how to take advantage of living in and learning about another culture. ... Very worthwhile. My Spanish is much better and I gained confidence from living alone in a foreign and challenging setting. Madeline W - Barnard College View Entire Review
Yes, I learned a lot about myself, had a great time, and learned a lot. By the end I was a little sick of being abroad, and this had never happened to me before, so that was interesting. My cultural awareness was heightened, and the program fit with my interests, so that did not change. Nicole K - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I greatly improved my language skills and learned how to find and build a community for myself. It was definitely worthwhile. Mara1 - Wellesley College View Entire Review

My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile and I learned a lot about myself. First of all I now know that I do not like living in big cities and that I need to have easy access to outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, biking and running. I would not want to live in Buenos Aires for an extended period of time. On th... Cailey S - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Even "bad" experiences are good experiences in that they show you what you value in life and help you create more informed opinions on a wide variety of topics, from your own preferences to world politics and economics. Laura S - Illinois State University View Entire Review
Completely worthwhile. I feel like in college you lose yourself amongst the large student bodies and organizations, but I found myself again in Argentina. I'm so grateful for this experience and it will always be one of my greatest memories. Aftyn B - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
If I could go on this program every summer for the rest of my life I would do it. The directors were phenomenal, the activities were always fun and so well-organized, the classes were stimulating, the people were welcoming, I could go on and on. I think it's very important for everyone to travel and see other peoples' lives in o... Abbey D - Trinity University View Entire Review
While I do not regret my experience in Buenos Aires, I am sad that my program was not more supportive (and thus I cannot recommend it very highly compared to another program). However, though life at times was more difficult than I anticipated, I am met some wonderful people and learned a lot about what my limits are and how muc...
