I learned that going to a completely different culture is difficult, but overall worth it at the end. Haleigh Anderson - Smith College View Entire Review
I leaned about myself as a person what it is that I really enjoy and a stronger sense of independence. I wouldn't change my experience at all. Liliana Mayorga - Wellesley College View Entire Review
- I learned to interact with other cultures. - Became more independent and open - Learned so much and tried new things I would not change anything. A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot more conversational Spanish, and how to adapt to new situations. I have always been very good at being alone and independent, but my semester in Córdoba reinforced that. It was worthwhile, but also pretty tiring and by the end I was very ready to leave. A student - Oberlin College View Entire Review
It was very worthwhile. Although I took classes and learned from them, I gained more knowledge just being around Spanish people and learning about their culture. A student - Smith College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about the Spanish language and culture, as well as gaining some general skills in communication, trip planning, budgeting, and living and taking classes in a country other than my own. For me, this was definitely a worthwhile experience. A student - Smith College View Entire Review
I gained fluency in Spanish, saw beautiful and historical cities, and learned a great deal about Spanish perspectives on the world (and by implication, what part of my perspective on things is shaped by my upbringing in the US). I had many educational discussions with Spanish students, professors, and my host family about polit... A student - Smith College View Entire Review
It was definitely worthwhile. My academic experience wasn't what I was hoping for but the things I learned outside of the classroom made my experience something that will always stay with me. A student - Smith College View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself through this experience, and a lot of what I learned were little things, but I believe those things are going to make me a more confident person in the world. For example, I learned I could move to another country, learn a language, travel all over Europe by myself, and still make it home in one piec... A student - Smith College View Entire Review

Spaniards are racists and hate Asian people. They think that they're not as racist as Americans (which is borderline hilarious). A student - Smith College View Entire Review
It helped me improve my Spanish and gain confidence in myself, especially in my ability to adapt and thrive in a foreign environment. I also got a chance to spend more time in Europe (where I'm from) and truly experience a new culture. A student - Smith College View Entire Review
I gained new friendships that I wouldn't have made had I not gone abroad. I also learned a lot about the way I, along with my culture, are perceived on an international level. A student - Wellesley College View Entire Review
